Who we’re looking for:
ICF Olson seeks a senior Talent Leader to join our team and lead talent acquisition efforts across the agency. This leader will play a critical role during an exciting transformation of our customer experience agency, while being a thought leader to drive the design and execution of a best in class talent roadmap. This position partners with team members throughout the agency (including Executive Leadership, Finance and Operations) on resource planning and acquisition, playing a critical role in human capital management and retention. This individual provides direct support for a subset of the agency, while providing leadership for overall talent acquisition team efforts across all of ICF Olson.
What you’ll get to do:
  • Leadership of Talent Acquisition Discipline:
    • Develop a comprehensive talent strategy for the agency
    • Lead all aspects of Talent acquisition in a rapidly growing agency with multiple locations
    • Partner with the team on our recruiting brand in the marketplace
    • Partner with senior management and discipline leads to assess resource needs – make recommendations accordingly
    • Supervise recruiting team members across U.S.
    • Directly lead senior-level searches across ICF Olson
    • Enhance diversity programs
    • Drive campus recruiting program including success/development of various internship programs
    • Partnering with the broader ICF organization’s Talent Acquisition team, ensure our tools, processes and technologies are effectively and consistently leveraged
    • Participate in efforts to optimize the pre-hire and onboarding experience
    • Act as a coaching resource for leadership as they scale their teams for success
  • HR Leadership Team Opportunities 
    • As a leader on the People team, participate in broader initiatives for ICF Olson including:
      • Organizational Culture across geographies
      • Employee & Management Development
      • Employee Retention and Attrition
      • Agency Growth Initiatives (including M&A)
What you’ll need to succeed:
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proven experience developing and leading initiatives and teams focused on talent acquisition
  • Demonstrated success in leading recruitment searches at various levels
  • Passion for innovative Hiring solutions and process improvement
  • Prior agency (or related) experience – working at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team and get along well with others
  • Known for effective time management, analytical and organizational skills
  • Thrives in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Strong sense of personal integrity, judgement and discretion
  • Well-developed critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead, mentor and coach others
Education & Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of Talent experience including work with Agency, Technology and Professional Services
  • You have a track record of aligning with business goals and recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures to provide continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of talent within the firm
  • Communicating all types of messages in all mediums is easy for you
  • Inspiring leader who enjoys team development
  • You have a bachelor’s degree and probably your PHR or SPHR certification
  • You have experience with all the usual software: Microsoft Office, HRIS, and ATS.
