Awards Recognize ICF for business growth in Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience and Salmon and Steelhead habitat modeling
ICF received two awards from Environmental Business International, the publishers of Climate Change Business Journal® (CCBJ) and Environmental Business Journal® (EBJ), for 2015. Specifically, ICF won a CCBJ Business Achievement Award in the Growth category for Climate Change Adaptation & Resilience, and an EBJ Technology Merit Award for Information Technology.
ICF was recognized by CCBJ for its expanding work with government, nonprofit, and commercial entities in understanding and interpreting climate science, assessing vulnerabilities, managing risks, and communicating findings. Taking into account new projects in 2015, ICF has worked for more than a dozen federal agencies in the past two years, as well as numerous state and local agencies on climate adaptation. ICF has helped to shape the state-of-the-art in conducting climate and weather risk assessments and operationalizing recommendations for reducing the impacts of climate.
