Megan Wessel specializes in transportation planning and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance review. She has technical and project management experience in applying strategic planning techniques for a variety of transportation, land use, land development, and natural resource projects in California and Nevada. Ms. Wessel also has been successful in securing and managing U.S. federal and state grants for long-range transportation and land use projects, including a $1.1 million U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) TIGER II Planning Grant for the San Mateo County Transit District.
Ms. Wessel is an American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certified planner and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professional. She also serves on the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS), San Francisco Board. She has a bachelor's degree from the University of California–Berkeley in Sociology and City and Regional Planning.
