Dr. Christine Walrath-Greene

Senior Vice President

Christine Walrath has more than more than 20 years of experience in public and behavioral health policy and program research and evaluation. Her deep experience includes full lifecycle policy and program evaluation, including context scans; design; implementation; instrument development; analysis of multimodal, multilevel, and multisite approaches to policy, training, and intervention evaluation and data collection; and dissemination.

Much of Dr. Walrath's work has involved large-scale data collection from high-risk populations about sensitive behavioral and physical health topics, including mental illness, exposure to suicidality, substance abuse, abuse and neglect, sexual and reproductive health, and criminality. She has applied her training and expertise to several large-scale Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)-funded mental health initiatives such as:

  • Comprehensive Community Mental Health Services for Children and Their Families Program (CMHI)
  • National Child Traumatic Stress Initiative (NCTSI)
  • Garrett Lee Smith (GLS) Youth Suicide Prevention and Early Intervention Program

Dr. Walrath is dually trained in community psychology and public mental health, she began her career at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and currently holds an adjunct faculty position.
