Paul Vrabel has 22 years of experience in project management and implementation of energy-efficient technology programs, including working directly for a major lighting fixture manufacturer. He has provided management and technical support for large-scale U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) programs, including ENERGY STAR, Better Buildings, State Energy Program (SEP), and Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. He has provided strategy and management services for key public-private partnerships (PPP) for DOE and EPA, including the Better Buildings Alliance, Better Buildings Challenge programs and the ENERGY STAR program. He also provides technical, strategy, design, implementation, and marketing support to numerous national demand side management (DSM) programs.
Mr. Vrabel also has extensive experience with energy-efficient building technology programs, specializing in residential and commercial lighting. He has facilitated numerous roundtables, meetings, workshops, and trainings to gain market support and demonstrate the business advantages of promoting, selling, and installing energy-efficient technologies.
Mr. Vrabel is Lighting Certified by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions and a certified project management professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI). He holds an M.S. in Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and a B.A. in Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.
