Martin Rosen has nearly 40 years of experience as a cultural resources professional and has worked extensively in southern California, the Great Basin, the Southwest, and Guatemala. He has managed numerous capital projects of every size—from small curve corrections to major highway construction projects covering dozens of miles.
Mr. Rosen ran the State Office of Historic Preservations’ California Historical Resources Information System at the University of California, and worked on research and compliance projects on Santa Catalina Island. He has also worked at the pre-Classic period site of El Balsamo in western Guatemala and the Pajarito Plateau of northern New Mexico.
Mr. Rosen has authored several professional publications and delivered dozens of professional papers and presentations. He holds M.A. and B.A. degrees in Anthropology from UCLA.
