Gene Rodrigues has more than 23 years of experience in the utility energy efficiency business. Prior to joining ICF, he served as senior director of demand side management (DSM) strategy for Southern California Edison, one of the largest electric utilities in the United States.
Mr. Rodrigues has served on a number of boards for nonprofit organizations. He is currently on the board of directors of the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy. He also serves in an advisory capacity to numerous initiatives, including as a member of the executive leadership group for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and the U.S. Environmental Agency (EPA)-led State Energy Efficiency Action Network. In 2012, he received EPA's first Climate Leadership Award for individual leadership.
He holds a Juris Doctorate and a B.S. in Education.
