Faith Powers, M.ED., PMP.

Principal

Faith Powers has more than 20 years of experience employing all phases of the instructional design (ISD) process to conduct training needs assessments, produce customized training solutions for DoD and other federal agencies using a variety of media, and evaluate the effectiveness of those training solutions. She uses her knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and best practices in the field in all of her client engagements as well as to lead ICF’s team of 30+ instructional designers in ICF’s Organizational Research, Learning, and Performance group. Ms. Powers has extensive experience adapting modern design and development practices to create innovative training solutions. For the U.S. Digital Service, Ms. Powers managed the development of a six-month pilot Digital Acquisition Training Program to build digital services acquisition expertise using Agile and Human-Centered design principles. For the Veterans Health Administration’s Simulation Learning Education and Research Network (VHA SimLEARN), she led a team of instructional designers in the design of three immersive, single player educational games that incorporated principles of experiential learning and game theory to support the learning needs of medical professionals across the VHA. Ms. Powers received her M.Ed. in Instructional Technology from George Mason University and is a Certified Project Management Professional.
