Daniel Paul

Senior Associate

Daniel Paul is a Senior Architectural Historian in the Los Angeles office of ICF. He manages projects and writes cultural resources and technical documents for local, state, and federal agencies. His project experience includes creating numerous technical documents for Caltrans, National Register nominations for the U.S. General Services Administration, and the City of Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument application for Griffith Park. He currently works on cultural resources documents for the California High Speed Rail (HPSR, HASR) and as a Section 106 technical analyst for the ARRA-funded Broadband Initiatives Program administered by the USDA Rural Utilities Service.

Mr. Paul served as the Vice-Chairperson of the Los Angeles Conservancy Modern Committee, a post-war architecture advocacy group founded in 1984. In 2009, he completed draft historic context statements for evaluating Los Angeles architecture constructed between 1965 and 1980 for the Getty Conservation Institute/City of Los Angeles “Survey LA” citywide historic resources survey.
