Suteera Nagavajara

Senior Manager

Suteera Nagavajara has 19 years of experience in international research and management. Since 2004, she has had direct supervision of population-based, large‐scale survey fieldwork in eight developing countries in Asia, Latin America, and Africa. She is the lead field operation manager for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Food for Peace (FFP) baseline studies in Burundi, Madagascar, Malawi, Nepal, Haiti, and Zimbabwe, which includes anthropometric data collection, and previously held this lead role for FFP baseline studies in Guatemala, Niger, and Uganda.

Ms. Nagavajara served as the project director for the United Nations Office for Project Services Livelihood and Food Security Trust Fund (LIFT) Household Study in Myanmar in 2013. She is experienced in planning and allocating resources for in-country research and evaluation data collection; designing research methodologies; conducting quality control of trainings, fieldwork, and deliverables; recruiting and managing consultants and subcontractors; and responding to client and stakeholder needs.

Prior to joining ICF, Ms. Nagavajara worked with the American Cancer Society, Inter-American Development Bank, American Association for the Advancement of Science, and Voice of America.

Ms. Nagavajara has an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Oregon and a B.A. in English from Chulalongkorn University (Thailand). She is fluent in English and Thai and proficient in Spanish.
