Edith Joan Nacpil

Senior Consultant

Edith Joan Nacpil has more than 10 years of experience in urban governance, economic analysis, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), and project management. She is a consultant for the Asian Development Bank (ADB) where she provides technical and analytical support for the development of a regional cooperation strategy for Central Asia. She is also developing concept papers on regional cooperation and the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation trade facilitation initiatives.

Ms. Nacpil was part of a team that conducted the project performance evaluation report for the loan investment of the ADB in the North Luzon Expressway Rehabilitation and Expansion Project. She has also worked as a performance monitoring specialist for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in the Philippines. There, she led efforts to monitor the progress and impacts of the $20 million AGILE Project, which focused on policy reforms in capital markets, commercial law, public sector governance, tax administration, banking and finance, trade, and agriculture.

Ms. Nacpil has an M.A. in Applied Business Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific and a B.A. in Development Studies from the University of the Philippines in Diliman.
