Susan McInturff oversees financial, contractual, and travel matters associated with the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) program, including U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) missions in approximately 50 developing countries. She interfaces directly with USAID missions and bureaus, serves as the liaison with five U.S. partners, monitors and forecasts spending on current activities, and advises staff on the implications of relocating personnel overseas. She provides quality control and supervision for financial/procurement analysts. With more than 25 years of experience with the DHS project, Ms. McInturff provides institutional memory and lessons on how USAID funding moves through the cycle of planning, obligation, categorizing, spending throughout the world, and reporting.
Ms. McInturff has an M.Ed. from Towson University.
