Scott McIntosh

Scott provides the architecture and oversight for solutions to client problems, and works with senior technical staff to assure the quality and security of those solutions. He also mentors technical staff to instill within them a sense of craftsmanship. Scott keeps abreast of emerging technologies, such as web technologies, mobile and pervasive computing, cloud computing, and machine learning. He evangelizes the innovative use of new technologies to solve client problems.

Throughout his career, Scott has provided services to many federal public sector clients. He has supported the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) over the last seven years and has become proficient in the use of cloud computing and open source software to produce solutions that support NYSDOT’s transportation demand management program, as well as other transportation related needs.

Scott is currently focused on cloud computing, including serverless applications and DevOps practices, and is pursuing an Amazon Web Services Machine Learning specialty certification.
