Mark Flugge

Dr. Mark Flugge


Mark Flugge has more than 15 years of experience analyzing atmospheric chemistry, greenhouse gas (GHG), and climate change issues. Dr. Flugge joined ICF in 2007 from the Pew Center on Global Climate Change (now the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions), where he conducted policy analysis and assessments of climate science and impacts.

Dr. Flugge works on various climate change and ozone-related contracts with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and other federal and private clients. He has experience analyzing complex datasets; managing teams, intricate scientific projects, and peer review processes; and working with stakeholders in the public, private, and nongovernmental sectors.

Dr. Flugge has a D.Phil. in Atmospheric Chemistry and an M.Chem. in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom.
