Christopher Evans


Christopher Evans has deep experience in climate vulnerability assessment, adaptation, and sustainability. He has conducted technical assessments of the impacts of projected changes in climate on private and public infrastructure, including transportation, oil and gas transmission, and metals and mining sectors. He has also helped municipal and private-sector decision makers evaluate adaptation measures, and he has experience conducting institutional climate change risk assessments, identifying supply chain risks from climate change, and implementing monitoring, reporting, and evaluation strategies.

Mr. Evans has experience in conducting lifecycle assessments of energy use and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across fuels, transportation, agriculture and food products, electronics products, forest products, and waste and recycling sectors. He has worked with public sector clients to implement voluntary programs to reduce energy use and emissions and to identify options for integrating sustainability into procurement, business operations, and upstream supply chains.

Mr. Evans has a master's degree in Technology and Policy from MIT and bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
