Mark Diamond


Mark Diamond has more than 20 years of industry, government, and consulting experience in transportation. His focus is on strategic and market planning for commercial airlines and airports, with a sub-focus on air cargo. He has worked with numerous airlines worldwide on projects ranging from overall business planning to alliance strategy, network, and fleet planning; acquisition strategy; due diligence; restructuring; process re-engineering; operational planning; supply chain; logistics; procurement; privatization support; and asset valuation. Mr. Diamond has assisted airports in the United States and abroad to forecast demand, identify new business opportunities, develop air services, and privatize operations. He also advises aviation product and service suppliers, helping to evaluate market options and develop growth strategies.

Prior to joining ICF, Mr. Diamond worked at Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) where he provided strategic and operational consulting assistance to companies in the aviation, maritime, and intermodal sectors. He also was manager of Airline Analysis at Kurth & Co. where he assisted numerous airports on air service development initiatives. He has also held positions with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and American Airlines.

Mr. Diamond has an M.P.P. from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. in International Politics from the University of Pennsylvania.
