Dan Bertuna

Vice President, Business Management and Operations
Dan is a business management and operations expert with more than 25 years of experience optimizing organizational and financial performance.

Dan specializes in large programs involving federal funding, complex eligibility requirements, and outcomes that require the successful engagement of disparate stakeholders. He translates the dynamic needs of disaster management clients into models that ensure flexibility and responsiveness while preserving limited budgets. Dan focuses on optimizing the financial and operational needs of the many stakeholders involved with response and recovery efforts.

Dan led a team of reviewers evaluating cost estimates and requests for reimbursement from thousands of broadcasters required to repack their spectrum holdings as part of the $1.75 billion TV Broadcaster Relocation Fund. Requests were evaluated by telecom engineers and cost analysts for reasonableness against program goals established by the Federal Communications Commission.

Previously, Dan led our broadband practice, working with state and local communities interested in leveraging federal funding to expand their broadband infrastructure in hard to service rural geographies. Prior to joining our team, Dan served as a business and finance manager for several private sector companies providing technology, engineering, and social services to the federal government.
