Lisa Bendixen

Vice President, Resilience and Disaster Management

Lisa Bendixen has more than 30 years of experience in risk assessment and management, emergency management, and providing security for industry clients and government agencies at the national, state, and local levels. She has developed and evaluated risk assessment and ranking methodologies for various natural and manmade hazards. Ms. Bendixen has extensive experience in the chemical, transportation, manufacturing, telecommunications, energy, and pharmaceutical industries— as well as with several banks and stock exchanges. Ms. Bendixen also applies her expertise to chemical demilitarization, counterterrorism, deterrence, and vulnerability assessment. She was on the Transportation Security Panel for the National Research Council’s report “Making the Nation Safer: The Role of Science and Technology in Countering Terrorism,” as well as on the NRC committee that produced “Terrorism and the Chemical Infrastructure: Protecting People and Reducing Vulnerabilities.”
