Prior to organizing PFF, a company that provides asset-based financing to companies offering goods and services to the U.S. government, Dr. Edward H. Bersoff was chairman and CEO of ATS Corporation and earlier founded and served as chairman and CEO of BTG, Inc., both publicly traded companies providing technical services in the public and private sectors. He has served as corporate director of three NASDAQ companies and was a corporate director of several private companies in the technology, service, manufacturing, publishing, and financial sectors.
Dr. Bersoff's past positions include chair of corporate audit and compensation committees and member of corporate governance committees, managing director of an investment bank, registered broker/dealer, national chair of the American Electronics Association and the Professional Services Council, and board member of several other associations and nonprofit organizations.
Dr. Bersoff was formerly a member of the board of trustees of New York University, chair of the board of visitors of Virginia Commonwealth University, and a distinguished professor at George Mason University's School of Information Technology and Engineering and School of Management (joint appointment). He currently serves on the Board of Marymount University.
Dr. Bersoff has A.B., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from New York University, and he is a graduate of the Owner/President's Management Program at Harvard Business School.
