Stacy Surla manages the User Experience team for ICF’s government practice. Her group designs excellent user experiences and cross-channel services, and solves complex client challenges using user-centered design and design thinking methodologies. Her consulting background in information technologies, research, and project evaluation spans more than 30 years.
Ms. Surla has led teams on projects for numerous federal clients, including the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Defense, Health and Human Services, and Justice, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, U.S. Agency for International Development, and the White House.
Ms. Surla has an M.S. in Literature and is an adjunct professor in the Kent State University iSchool. She was a twice-elected officer on the board of the Information Architecture Institute and a program chair for the IA Summit, and she serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Information Architecture.
