Syreeta Skelton has more than 9 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing small- and large-scale evaluation and performance measurement projects in youth programs such as afterschool care and service learning; teen pregnancy and STD prevention; and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) undergraduate and graduate education. She has expertise in database design, evaluation capacity building, survey development, data collection, evaluation research, and technical assistance.

Ms. Skelton served as conceptual architect, administrator, and technical support provider for numerous large-scale, multipurpose relational databases and managed evaluation studies for Points of Lights Institute, Spelman College, Georgia Department of Education, and Georgia Department of Human Services. She provides state-level evaluation technical assistance and capacity-building support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Communities Putting Prevention to Work initiative within the Division of Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity.
