Moin Shaikh recently joined ICF in support of the Department of Energy smart-grid security program. Mr. Shaikh is a multi-disciplined technology consultant with a wide range of engineering expertise who delivers secure, time and cost-saving IT/OT solutions. He has more than 15 years of industry experience supporting large turnkey projects geared towards implementing the latest industrial software and networking technologies in manufacturing and process industries.
Prior to ICF, Mr. Shaikh served as Cybersecurity Engineer for Regulatory Compliance at Exelon Nuclear, which operates the nation’s largest fleet of nuclear plants. He performed risk assessments of critical systems and digital assets in accordance with NRC regulation 10 CFR 73.54 for protection of digital computer, communication systems and networks. Based on assessment results, he implemented industry best practices and employee training programs.
Mr. Shaikh holds a bachelor of science degree in computer systems engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology in Pakistan. He later earned his executive master’s degree in technology management (EMTM), cosponsored by the School of Engineering and the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania.
