Aaron Schroeder has several years of experience with greenhouse gas (GHG) regulations in Western Canada and leads ICF's GHG verification practice. He has been the lead verifier on third-party assurance assignments for multiple compliance periods under Alberta's Specified Gas Emitters Regulation. The facility compliance reports have included coal and natural gas fired electricity generating facilities, cogeneration facilities, bitumen extraction facilities in Alberta's oil sands, oil and gas extraction and processing plants across Western Canada, petrochemical facilities, refineries, upgraders, and natural gas pipelines.
Mr. Schroeder's emission reduction project verifications have included wind electricity generation, acid gas injection, enhanced oil recovery, energy efficiency, landfill gas capture and utilization, and conservation cropping/tillage management projects. In addition, he has managed several projects for government and commercial clients that analyzed existing and emerging air emissions and GHG regulations.
Mr. Schroeder has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan.
