Senior Project Manager

Wendy Rueda has more than 20 years of experience in strategic communications and marketing. Ms. Rueda has managed research, public relations, education, and media campaigns for a broad range of clients, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other U.S. Federal Government agencies, as well as corporate and nonprofit clients.

Bringing a social marketing foundation to her work, Ms. Rueda begins each new relationship with research—through review and analysis of existing research or defining the goals and objectives of the new task to determine how best to proceed. Ms. Rueda also has extensive experience in overseeing the development of health education materials for a variety of target audiences, including health care professionals, disease advocates, and the general public, with special focus on low-literacy and select age-based subgroups. Leading branding workshops to inform unique new campaigns, products, or services, she has provided clients with fresh approaches to not only reaching but resonating with their audiences.
