Arun has nearly two decades of private sector development experience, working in value chain promotion, public-private dialogue, international trade, commercial banking, journalism, and public relations.

Arun has nearly two decades of private sector development experience, working in value chain promotion, public-private dialogue, international trade, commercial banking, journalism, and public relations. In addition to managing economic growth in Nepal, Arun advises on the Department for International Development (DFID)-funded Nepal Urban Resilience Programme.

Before joining us in 2019, Arun served as the country director of Samriddha Pahad UK. He has experience implementing programs for the DFID, European Union, and German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, among others. He has worked for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit and the Nepal Investment Bank in Nepal and as a consultant at Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase in New York.
