Ana is an experienced sustainability consultant, with an engineering/science background. In her 14 years’ experience she has been working with both public and private sector clients providing advice, consultancy and research in areas ranging from; material resource efficiency and waste management; implementing circular economy thinking; strategic environmental planning for developments and urbans areas; environmental impact assessment and strategies; and developing international sustainability standards.
Prior to ICF, Ana has carried out projects in a number of countries (Portugal, United Kingdom, Brazil, Chile, Angola, Mozambique, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela and across Europe). She integrated design teams in different projects and implemented performance measurement tools for the construction sector to measure, analyze and benchmark construction performance including productivity, efficiency and environmental impact.
Ana holds a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering and is a member of IET and chartered environmentalist of IEMA.
