Maureen Quinlan
Maureen is a distributed grid strategy consultant. She supports utility and government clients with technology and regulatory challenges surrounding distributed energy resources (DER) integration and grid modernization. Maureen has also led stakeholder engagement efforts on behalf of clients to inform retail rate design and climate resilience planning.
Earlier in her career, Maureen held various roles at Pacific Gas and Electric Co., where she specialized in California Independent System Operator (CAISO) market design and monitoring, energy storage strategy and pilots, and wholesale power purchase agreements for energy storage and renewables. As part of PG&E’s transactions team, Maureen led a non-wires alternative project to meet a CAISO transmission reliability need with local clean energy resources. She also negotiated resource adequacy contracts with renewable and energy storage developers to meet state policy goals and reliability needs.
Maureen also has experience shepherding innovative projects and programs through the state regulatory approval and implementation processes.
