Nikos Papachristodoulou
Managing Consultant - International Development

Nikos is a Managing Consultant in ICF’s London-based International Development Division. He specializes in the management of urban sector development work, with a focus primarily on disaster and climate resilience, infrastructure, economic development, and poverty reduction. Nikos has also been involved in the evaluation of programs and projects in the disaster risk management, climate change, energy, transport, and water and sanitation sectors.

Nikos has worked for a range of clients and donors including the World Bank, DFID, FCO, EU, USAID and local authorities. His work over the years has taken him to many countries in North and sub-Saharan Africa, South and Southeast Asia, the Pacific, and Latin America and the Caribbean.

Nikos is currently Project Manager and DRM Specialist for the World Bank-funded Strategic Assessment of the Climate Resilience of Dar es Salaam Transport Infrastructure project and Project Manager for the European Union-funded Low Carbon Action in the Republic of Korea project.

Nikos has a background in economics and an MSc in Social Development Practice from University College London’s Development Planning Unit (DPU).
