Wai-duen Lee is a transport and logistics economist. She has worked on a variety of transportation, logistics, and economic studies for the Hong Kong SAR government, multinational development agencies, and private clients. Ms. Lee was the team leader of the fare review arrangement for franchised buses in Hong Kong and port economist for the Hong Kong Port Cargo Forecast and Masterplan Update and Hong Kong Port Masterplan 2020.
Ms. Lee was also project manager for the Hong Kong International Airport Air Cargo Study 2007 where she assessed the economic benefits of air cargo. She helped develop ICF GHK's Least Cost Routeing Model, a transport economic model that has been adopted in several studies to simulate cargo allocation using economic and financial variables as factor inputs.
