Dr. Chris La Rose

Christopher La Rose has nearly 10 years of experience working with public health programs focused on building the capacity of ministries of health, underserved and disadvantaged communities, community-based organizations (CBO) and nongovernmental organizations (NGO), health departments, and other groups to address preventable diseases, especially new and emerging infectious diseases. His experience in linguistics, mass communication, and public health apply to his work in developing, coordinating, and evaluating prevention programs geared toward HIV prevention, pandemic preparedness, health communication, and adult immunization.

Dr. La Rose has extensive domestic and international experience managing projects that develop and deliver training and technical assistance; leading and designing evaluations that apply both quantitative and qualitative data collection methodologies and analyses; and interacting with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
