Marti Kovener has more than 20 years of local, state, and national experience managing organizations and delivering facilitation, training, and technical assistance toward the goal of building capacity for communities, organizations, and individuals using mobilization strategies, strategic planning, training, and leadership development. Ms. Kovener has published and provided national subject matter expertise (SME) across the criminal and juvenile justice continuum and trains on many topics, including collaboration, nonprofit and community capacity building and leadership, community and youth engagement and mobilization, cultural diversity and inclusion, crisis response, and developing innovative practice models and data driven approaches. Ms. Kovener has successfully managed projects up to $25 million to develop and deliver high-quality training and technical assistance deliverables.
Ms. Kovener has a B.A. in Psychology and Women’s Studies from the University of Colorado and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
