Don Cogman ICF Alumni

Don is one of the true leaders in the communications industry, with over thirty years of public relations, public affairs, advertising and consulting experience in New York and Washington D.C. As Senior Counselor of PulsePoint Group, Don works primarily at the intersection of public affairs and crisis/issues management.

He is a former President and Chief Operating Officer of Burson-Marsteller and served as Executive Vice-President of Young & Rubicam in New York.

Currently, Mr. Cogman is Chairman of CC Investments LLC, a private investment firm in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is a former Chairman of the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Young Entrepreneur Foundation, NFIB’s education arm, and a recent member of the NFIB Board of Directors and Executive Committee. He recently completed a term as a Presidential Appointee to the National Council of the National Endowment for the Arts. He is a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the Interlochen Center for the Arts, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Scottsdale Cultural Council where he is Vice-Chairman and a member of the Executive Committee.

Mr. Cogman has also served as Chairman of the Advisory Board for the Partnership for Gender Specific Medicine at Columbia University in New York City; a past member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of The Acting Company, a national traveling repertory theatre company based in New York, and a past appointee to the President’s Commission on the U.S. Postal Service.

He is a native of Oklahoma, a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and is married with four children.
