James is a Director at PulsePoint Group where he primarily focuses on organizational strategy, change management and performance improvement for the communications function. He has worked with companies such as Toyota, Wells Fargo, McDonald’s and Bristol-Myers Squibb, developing and executing strategic initiatives to help marketing and communications organizations thrive in today’s digital world.
Prior to joining PulsePoint Group, James worked at Edelman, where he focused on media relations and influencer engagement with companies including General Electric and Chipotle.
James started his communications career in the nonprofit industry. He has extensive experience working with regional organizations and political entities, organizing community development initiatives through both traditional and digital media strategies.
James graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a minor in Business. James is an Oklahoma native living in Southern California, but he’ll always be a Texas Longhorn.
