Dr. Fred Arnold

Senior Fellow

Fred Arnold has 40 years of experience providing technical assistance in all phases of survey implementation and analysis in developing countries. He has been directly involved in the design and implementation of population-based surveys in Asia, Africa, and South America.

Dr. Arnold advises international agencies on malaria (as a member of the Monitoring and Evaluation Reference Group, Roll Back Malaria, and chair of the Survey Indicator and Guidance Task Force), environmental health (as an advisor to the World Health Organization (WHO)-United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Joint Monitoring Program on Water Supply and Sanitation), and maternal and child health (as a member of the Core Group of the Child Health Epidemiology Reference Group).
