Dr. Abdinasir Amin

Dr. Abdinasir Amin has more than 12 years of experience in malaria control, in which he has gained experience in a number of areas, including impact evaluation of malaria control programs; capacity building; design and implementation of malaria programs; medicines regulation; development and management of programs, projects, and plans; and donor management. He is also familiar with the global fund application processes and operations, including performance frameworks, preparation of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) plans, procurement and supply chain management plans, and in-country partnership building and coordination.

Dr. Amin has conducted health system performance assessments with a focus on pharmaceutical sector assessments; health systems strengthening; policy and strategy development; program evaluation; project design, development, and management; operational research; statistics and data management; and technical assistance provision at the international, regional, and national levels. He is experienced in technical report writing; documentation and dissemination of public health best practices; and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) contract and agreement procedures, including work planning, budgeting, pipeline monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
