Web Developer (REMOTE)
ICF seeks a Web Developer to help us develop over 15 mission-critical applications for a large Federal agency and long-time client. This role is open to work full time remote with occasional visits to our Woodlawn, MD client location.
What you will be doing:
Participate in daily scrum meetings.
Analyze, test, and resolve issues with application software.
Adapt existing software to meet customer needs.
Collaborate with other team members to develop technical documentation.
Required Skills and Experience:
3 year of software development experience
AJAX experience in conjunction with jQuery.
Code versioning system experience i.e., SVN or GIT.
Prior experience working with third-party libraries or frameworks.
US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required due to federal contract requirement
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Bachelor’s degree is preferred but candidates with an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
1+ years of experience working with MySQL or an SQL-based RDBMS. Additionally, understand database terminology, and be able to write complex queries joining multiple tables.
Experience working in Windows and Linux environments.
Exposure to XML and web services and know-how to use them.
Hands-on experience with LDAP for managing hierarchical data.
Working knowledge of Section 508 compliance.
Development of applications using an MVC framework.
Designed multi-table databases to include the preparation of schemas and data dictionaries.
Delivered application demonstrations to clients.
Experience working on Agile development teams.
