This position can be based in the Washington DC area (Reston, VA) or Remote.

ICF is currently hiring a Web Analytics Specialist, PPC (Pay per Click) to lead with their capabilities and increase the skill sets of our ad operations team.

The Work

The role of the Web Analytics Specialist is to implement digital analytics solutions in support of the measurement needs of client initiatives. This role requires experience in web analytics, tag management systems, digital media platforms, and data management concepts. You should love digging into the numbers to uncover trends in the data, and ways to improve performance, as well as using GTM and Google Analytics to ensure proper tagging and analytics tracking. You will support PPC (Pay Per Click) buying efforts and help develop & monitor paid search campaigns. You will benefit from the support of working in a collaborative team environment while coordinating several projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, document, and implement a wide range of analytics solutions including tag management, analytics platform configuration, data extraction to facilitate the comprehensive tracking of marketing touchpoints
  • Execute tag management implementation using platforms such as Google Tag Manager and provide comprehensive validation of all tracking points to ensure measurement accuracy
  • Configure web and digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics (GA3 & GA4) / Ads / Campaign Manager, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, LinkedIn Ads, The Trade Desk
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs related to tagging issues
  • Maintain reporting dashboards, ensuring connections to web and ad platforms remain active and accurate
  • Provide guidance to clients on tracking and attribution strategies
  • As available, support PPC (Pay per Click) search buying efforts by conducting keywords research and analysis, reviewing search copy and provide constructive suggestions; manage budgets in line with strategy and ensure that monthly spend is on target

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience tracking and measuring digital media
  • 2 years of experience utilizing tag management systems, including Google Tag Manager for the deployment of analytics tracking tags on page view-based websites
  • 2 years of experience supporting analytics for digital media
  • 2 years of experience configuring Google Analytics Accounts (GA3 & GA4), Properties, and Views, including the creation of Goals, Filters, Custom Dimension/Metrics, and Segments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager required
  • Experience with Google Looker (Data Studio) dashboards
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics / Ads / Campaign Manager, Facebook Ads, TTD or other DSPs
  • Familiar with Google Ads and Bing search campaigns

Professional Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team and collaborate regularly with team members at all levels
  • Analytical, data interpretation, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • A focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and superior client service
  • Google Ads Search Certification is a plus
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Analytics experience a plus

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is

$60,598.00 - $103,017.00
