Treasury & Financial Analysis Manager – Europe & Asia
ICF is looking to hire a UK based, Treasury & Financial Analysis Manager, in support of ICF Europe and Asia regional operations. The role will report to Europe and Asia Treasury Director with a dotted line reporting to the Corporate Treasury department in the US. This is a key role that will further mature and develop E&A Treasury capabilities. It will require strong process discipline and analytical acumen. This is a hands on role helping to drive the optimization of working capital performance and treasury risk management. It will require someone with a passion for financial planning, analysis and forecasting. This role would not suit someone seeking or moving from a pure technical treasury position in the financial services industry.
This position will be based in the United Kingdom, though we are flexible with the specific location.
The role will be preferably London, Leeds or Birmingham based however other locations with a mix of remote working and period visits to the office will be considered for the right candidates.
Candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
Cash Flow preparation and forecasting,
Annual preparation of entity level cash flow plan.
DSO/DPO Reporting, Forecasting & Analysis
Preparation of Treasury monthly review packs (including variances to plan and forecast) for review by senior management.
Partnering with other departments (Accounting. Business Management) and the business to review and analyse working capital performance and forecast expectations.
Analyse and reconcile operating cash and operation profit performance.
Analyse inter-company positions to inform settlement.
Partner with operational finance and Corporate departments to analyse foreign exchange risk. Analysing and forecasting foreign exchange exposures
Analyse project level Deferred Revenue and forecasted expectations.
Weekly cash receipt reporting and analysis for submission.
Maintain and develop related analytical models (excellent Excel is essential).
Back up to Treasury Director and Treasury operations as needed.
Vendor approvals in Maconomy ERP.
Bank account set up and closure administration.
Bank account signatory and amendment administration.
Implement inter-company trade and loan agreements to support cross boarder payments and transfers. Working with accounting and tax departments where required.
Back up for payment support to India including obtaining challans.
Back up for Bank Guarantees & Demand Drafts administration support (includes review of bid documents)
Assist the Treasury director to maintain regional Treasury Policy & Procedures and SOX Controls
Assist the treasury director with developing turnkey models and reporting decks.
Assist the treasury director with maintenance and development of Credit Card and Virtual Credit Card programs.
Qualifications and Experiences
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:
Strong financial literacy working in an FP&A or Treasury operations position related role in general industry (as opposed to pure financial services industry) for 5+ years.
Preferably someone with financial/accounting based qualification or degree.
Excellent analytical and cash flow forecast preparation and modelling skills (excellent excel modeling skills is fundamental)
Experience of process improvement in relation to Working capital management and reporting.
Experience in working with busines stake holders in terms of receivables, collections, status and updates. Similar experience in managing and analysing/forecasting Days Sales Outstanding, Days Purchases Outstanding and other key working capital metrics.
Experience in analysing foreign exchange exposures and experience in foreign exchange risk forecasting and management (e.g. forward contracts/swaps) in a commercial / industry environment (i.e. not financial services).
Experience of managing banking platforms and banking relations
Cross boarder payment transfers and executions including associated agreements e.g. inter-company loan agreements.
Experience in operating in an international fast paced corporate environment including dealing with diverse teams and across multiple time zones.
Excellent Verbal, Written and Interpersonal skills- to a global team.
