Mobility Technology / Transportation Systems Operations Engineering Analyst – Southern California
ICF’s Transportation Practice specializes in addressing complex issues at the nexus of transportation and the environment, energy, and communities. ICF’s work focuses on integrated approaches that support sustainable transportation decisions, addressing mobility, safety, environmental, social, and economic effects of transportation. Our systems operations group conducts leading-edge work on congestion management, operations, and safety issues across modes and at all levels. We support Federal, State, and local governments to manage the people and vehicles using mobility technology and transportation systems during congested periods and improve vehicle and passenger throughput without adding to the footprint of the road. Our expertise encompasses the full range of strategies, techniques, and tactics, including:
• Transportation demand management solutions
• Operational improvements related to urban design and livability
• Strategies for nonrecurring congestion
• Support with collecting and using transportation data and developing knowledge transfer systems
• Safety research, analysis, guidebooks, partnerships, and strategic planning
• Concepts of operations for advanced transportation systems management approaches• Development and delivery of demand management practices, services, and technology
Job DescriptionTo support ICF's dynamic growth, we are seeking a Mobility Technology / Transportation Systems Operations Engineering Analyst responsible for leading and/or supporting project tasks related to the development and delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality products and services within our Transportation Practice in Southern California and across the U.S.
The successful candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Regional transportation system management and operations concepts, including but not limited to Integrated Corridor Management (ICM), Active Transportation and Demand Management (ATDM), intelligent transportation systems (ITS), and reliability issues
• Understanding of mobility technology trends and business models
• Analysis and understanding of connected and automated vehicles
• Systems engineering processes for transportation technology development with experience in developing Concept of Operations, system requirements specifications, and test plans.
• Transportation economic analysis and/or asset management concepts, including risk assessment, benefit-cost analysis, and system condition and performance assessment• Transportation data related to micro-mobility, freight and/or passenger travel, traffic flow with ability to conduct complex data analysis and visualization

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$64,372.00 - $109,432.00
