Trade Ally Account Manager

Account Manager Location: Remote Arizona - local travel within the Phoenix, AZ metro area required

As a Senior Account Manager, you will support commercial utility programs to bring electrification and electric vehicle charging programs to trade ally partners and customers in the Phoenix, AZ metro area.       An Account Manager will gain broad exposure to various types of electric energy projects and provides customer project development, trade ally recruiting and support management, and other technical services for a utility energy program. In this role, you would be responsible for driving trade ally and customer participation, providing insightful management reporting, generating leads and opportunities, and successfully closing projects in alignment with client contracts and key performance indicators In the Phoenix, AZ metro area.

What you will be doing: 

  • Recruit, train and coach Trade Allies and internal support team members on best practices, project resolutions, and technical subject matter 
  • Support the reporting team to assemble and provide reports, presentations, and database management using many MS Office programs and industry-specific software tools. 
  • Build and maintain in-person relationships with global trade allies, sub-contractors, and industry associations. There will also be opportunities to attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote and represent the program offerings 
  • Stay informed on industry news, updates, and trends 

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications): 

  • Bachelor's degree or related work experience
  • 2+ years outreach, account management and/or sales experience
  • 1+ year(s) experience utilizing a CRM such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
  • Must have valid driver’s license and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check 

What we would like you to have: 

  • Experience managing a service provider network and results-based selling.  
  • Experience working in material handling, fleet, facilities, logistics or Industrial sectors.  
  • Certified Energy Manager, BPI credentials or utility program implementation experience.  
  • Experience successfully managing multiple projects, people and processes with limited oversight.
