Technical Writer/Publications Analyst

As a Technical Writer at ICF, you will apply your analytical and testing skills to help solve client challenges. You will work in a fast-paced and diverse environment, enjoy flexible work arrangements, and will have a management team that encourages your career development and growth. This role requires strong analytical and documentation skills and the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
What you will do:
- Work with teams of writers and editors to publish and promote content via websites and other communications channels
- Manage production-related documentation across the product lifecycle
- Perform product tracking and reporting to internal and external customers in line with organizational processes and tools
- Provide analysis and recommendations to product development processes and tracking mechanisms
- Review content and publications for content, grammar, syntax, and formatting
- Assist with the authoring, proofing and quality control of project documentation, operational procedures, technical reports, research publications and presentations
- Publish products in a DRUPAL environment
- Provide quality control checks to products prior to publishing
- Participate in planning and work with the publications team to develop and publish products in support of mission critical objectives
Qualifications:
- High Level Clearance required
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
- Experience working with various types of testing such as automated, exploratory, load and performance testing on web services and applications
- Experience gathering information from multiple sources, interviewing stakeholders to define requirements
- Experience performing requirements analysis related to publications or information sharing for a broad audience
- U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position)
Professional Skills:
- Excellent writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
- Understanding of a production/content cycle
- Familiarity with digital and print communications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the federal government sector and working with government clients
- Display a high degree of initiative and ability to work independently under minimum supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Customer service orientation with strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
Location: This role will be performed onsite in Arlington, VA.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$68,658.00 - $116,718.00
