Technical Writer/Editor - Homeland Security

This is hybrid role, working from a remote office with work on site at the client HQ office in Washington, DC as needed to attend meetings or other events.
As a Technical Writer at ICF, you will apply your analytical and testing skills to help solve client challenges. You will work in a fast-paced and diverse environment, enjoy flexible work arrangements, and will have a management team that encourages your career development and growth. This role requires strong analytical and documentation skills and the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
What you will need:
10 years + experience with technical writing and editing
Familiarity with DHS style guides
Experience writing or editing emergency management plans and/or scenarios
Experience drafting after action reports, evaluations or other client-ready deliverables
Bachelors degree
U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position).

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$77,890.00 - $132,413.00
