Technical Project Manager (Remote)

ICF’s Digital Modernization Division (DMD) is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology department, seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead a high-performing team supporting our government client through our prime contractor.
Our division is an information technology and management consulting department that offers integrated, strategic solutions to its public and private-sector clients. ICF has the expertise, agility, and commitment to design, build, and operate high-performance IT engines to support all aspects of our client’s business.
What you’ll be doing:
Serve as the prime contractor and client’s primary point of contact. Respond to the prime contractor and government’s questions, concerns, and comments, as well as be proactive in alerting the prime contractor and government to potential programmatic issues.
Provide advisory administrative and management support services under the contract’s task orders, and work with task order managers.
Provide exceptional customer service, including submission of any reports required in support of the prime contractor’s submittal to the government, including, monthly activity reporting, and program management reviews as requested.
Ensure all client key performance indicators are met and the client is highly satisfied with our work and our support to their mission.
Work collaboratively with business leads and subject matter experts (SMEs) responsible for technical delivery; work closely with technical managers and SMEs to develop and administer commitments, plans, schedules, resource management, and associated costs, specifications, staffing, and management requirements.
Provide management oversight for some employees that support the program in administrative or program manager roles.
Lead and facilitate meetings with government clients and stakeholders in support of the prime contractor.
What you must have:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in project management or program support
1+years of experience managing and leading staff with high levels of client satisfaction
1+ years of experience with SaaS/PaaS or low code platforms
1+years of experience managing a cross-functional project team
1+years of experience in a fast-paced dynamic environment and being a hands-on problem solver and leader
1+years of knowledge of Project Management methodologies and tools
1+years of experience managing in an Agile environment for O&M and application development teams
1+ years of operational experience with program/project metrics tracking and reporting
1+years of solid knowledge of federal government contracting and budgeting processes
1+ years of development experience or technical degree
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Green Card Holder or US Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.
What we’d like you to have:
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
MBA, MPP, MS in project management, or another related advanced degree
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written to include presentations, editing, and proofreading skills
Previous experience supporting federal government programs
