Team Assistant

If you are organised, have good administration skills, enjoy variety in your job and want to work in an organisation that is focused on making the world a better place, then we may have the role you are looking for.

We are looking for a Team Administrator / Team Assistant to support our public policy research team. The team works on solutions to many of the key challenges of our time – from improving health services to conserving biodiversity, strengthening internet safety to reducing homelessness. The team is distributed across our offices in the UK and in Brussels. We have a wide variety of professional backgrounds and more than a dozen nationalities.

As the team’s administrator you will provide a range of support services that will help us work more efficiently and effectively. Tasks will include:

  • Assembling information required for proposals;

  • Providing project managers with assistance in the set up of their projects on ICF systems;

  • Help make sure we are consistently following our in-house procedures for quality

  • Providing support to researchers in the scheduling of interviews;

  • Helping prepare reports for clients, including formatting and layout

This role will suit someone who:

  • Can work flexibly, prioritise tasks and work with a high degree of autonomy;

  • Has good written and verbal communication skills;

  • Is proactive and wiling to engage with colleagues to provide advice and find solutions;

  • Is willing to learn, and enjoys identify issues and finding solutions,

  • Is competent in use of Microsoft Word and Excel;

  • Has some experience of providing administrative support in professional services or the public sector.

This role can be based in our offices in Leeds, Birmingham or Plymouth. We provide options for hybrid working that combines home and office-based working.
