Key Responsibilities

Perform the detailed drafting of substations drawing including, but not limited to:

• One-line diagrams
• AC/DC Schematics
• Wiring diagrams
• Three-line diagrams
• Communications
• Panel front views
• Station physical layouts
• Sections/Elevations
• Control enclosure design and details
• Cable and conduit plans and details
• Ground grid design and details
• Foundation plans and details
• Structural plans and details
• Lightning protection plans
• Yard lighting plans

Meet all project deadlines and support the processes and procedures to meet deadlines.

Follow established design Standards and CAD drafting Standards while assuring quality, accuracy, and completeness.

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience in a drafter role with basic knowledge of electrical substations
• 1+ years of experience with AutoCAD or other similar applications, design, or modeling skills and/or design principles and practices
• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Access

Preferred Requirements/Soft Skills

• Associates degree in design or related fields
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work remotely without supervision

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$42,424.00 - $72,121.00
