Sr. Workforce Development Consultant - Newark, NJ
To support our recent growth in the northeast region we are currently seeking a Sr. Workforce Development Consultant. You will bring your expertise and best practices to support the successful delivery of workforce development implementation to clients.
This role provides the opportunity to forge a strong relationship with both the client and project team that will contribute to your growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strong ability to produce professional executive level and training decks
Ownership of key reporting requirements and performance-based metrics with a keen ability to analyze data with a precise attention to detail
Full scope project management experience and assist in the standardization and implementation of program processes and procedures
Support initiative to ensure all key recruiting and staffing metrics are achieved. Assist with identifying new sourcing strategies to secure candidates with hard-to-find skills sets and professionally present program to new community partners as needed
Actively drive efforts that integrate diversity, equity and inclusion within program processes
Maintain a hands-on role to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are accurate and complete
Promote ICF career opportunities to the professional community via networking, conference attendance, social media and career events
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years in client facing, support roles
Extensive experience in deck building and robust PowerPoint skills
Proven excellent analytical skills with an impeccable attention to detail
Demonstrated understanding of workforce operations functions and processes in one or more of the following areas: Corporate Operations, HR Compliance, Employee Relations, Employment Law
Experience implementing DEI focused workforce development program reporting
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Experience leveraging PowerBI and Power Automate systems
Dedicated work ethic with a commitment to client service excellence
Ability to succeed in team-based or independent environment
Strategic mindset with the ability to establish influential partnerships at all levels
Showcased experience implementing continuous improvement and quality assurance applications
Professional Skills:
Strong client presence with project management, presentation and facilitation experience
Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
Well-organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
Team player with the ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
Able to work with all levels of internal employees, clients and partners independently as needed
Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism and a cooperative attitude
Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
