Sr. HR Business Partner (Environment & Planning) - Remote
As a Sr Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in the Environmental & Planning (E&P) division of ICF’s Energy, Environment, and Infrastructure (EEI)group, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of ICF’s talent management practices, partnering with key stakeholders in support of strategic business objectives. In your role as a strategic Sr HR Business Partner, you will advise and coach leaders in all elements of talent management, including identifying current and future human capital needs, issues, and priorities, and leading the execution of the appropriate actions to help the business achieve their objectives. This role will also serve as the Sr HRBP for the Business Development team within the EEI group.
This role will be based on the US west coast to be accessible to our ICF offices and employee population predominantly located in this region. This role can be based out of an ICF office or hybrid and may require occasional travel supporting a geographically dispersed team.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary HR contact to assigned Divisional and Business Leaders.
Partner with business leaders to drive results, improve organizational effectiveness and performance management, facilitate effective change efforts and ensure employee engagement.
Partner with the business to lead companywide HR initiatives and establish and implement effective human capital strategies. Ensure HR programs are effectively communicated, implemented, and utilized with minimal disruption and strong client partnership.
Help transform business strategies and objectives into individual performance goals; help to cascade those goals through the line organization.
Facilitate and support succession management for both leadership and top talent and develop overall talent management strategies to support employee development within the business.
Support people manager development by serving as a coach in support of various HR programs and initiatives. Work with managers to enable them to develop their employees and advance their careers.
Assess voluntary attrition levels, identify areas of opportunity and potential root causes, craft action plans to address, and lead implementation.
Oversee/collaborate on employee relations matters - collaborate with the business and other HR staff as appropriate to develop resolution strategies when specific ER issues arise.
Support both E&P and Corporate D&I programming.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal/regulatory federal and state requirements and ensure fair and consistent daily management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance for employees.
Work closely with HR Leadership to deliver strategic HR priorities across the EEI Operating Group and support enterprise-wide projects.
Mentor and manage members of the E&P Management HR team.
Promote ICF's Core Values through HR programs and practices, model personal integrity, drive the importance of ethics and compliance throughout the business, and address related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
6+ years of demonstrated success in assisting managers with talent management, addressing organizational and employee development issues, and resolving complex employee relations issues.
6+ years of experience with compiling data, understanding the data, and telling the story via creating data visuals in tools such as Microsoft Office.
6+ years of experience working in one or a combination of HR practices and disciplines, including talent management, compensation, performance management, employee/career development and general support in a broad-based HR generalist role.
6+ years of HR project management, program implementation and training delivery.
6+ years of experience working with the Microsoft Office suite.
Working knowledge of California labor regulations.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP or SCP certification.
Proven HR leadership in a consulting environment.
Facilitation of leadership development programs.
Demonstrated expertise in supporting a large, complex, multi-location organization while working with managers across various offices.
Experienced in assessment tools, and comfortable in debriefing assessment profiles at the individual and work group levels.
Experience using Workday.

Proven ability as an effective team member on virtual teams and ability to successfully support, coach, and influence remote clients.
Proven ability to successfully support, coach, and influence internal clients to include with clients in varying geographic locations, both domestic and international.
High-level of proficiency in problem solving skills/critical thinking --with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization as required.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$103,672.00 - $176,242.00
