Sr Drupal Engineer - Part-time/On Call - Remote
*This is a part-time/on call remote position that can sit anywhere in the US*
ICF Next is looking for a Senior Drupal Engineer who is intimately familiar with Drupal site building, custom module development, and front-end/theming. This is a dynamic position and requires an individual with strong technical and communication skills who can think strategically, work independently, and execute tactically.
What You’ll Do
Deliver Drupal sites that are fully compliant with standards for design, accessibility, security, and performance
Work with stakeholders and team to manage expectations throughout the life of the project
Learn rapidly and stay current with modern technologies
What You’ll Bring
6+ years building secure, accessible, responsive web applications
5+ years building Drupal solutions, including module development, theming, and migrations
2+ years technical leadership
Expert command of Git, Drush, and Composer
Experience writing automated tests
A general understanding of containerization
Strong oral and written communication skills and the willingness to use them
A willingness to learn and to share your own experience
A strong sense of ownership and engagement
Nice to Have
Experience using CSS Methodologies such as BEM, SMACSS, OOCSS, and Atomic
Familiarity working in and with Cloud technologies like AWS and Acquia
Ability to work with PHP frameworks such as Symfony, CakePHP, and Laravel
Understanding of automated testing methodologies and best practices
Experience with decoupled Drupal
A portfolio of work including links to projects with a summary of your role on each
