Social Media Expert
ICF Next is one of the leading integrated communication agencies in Europe, specialising in large-scale events and campaigns across the European Union. We are looking for a creative and dynamic team player to fill the position of Social Media Expert for one of our clients.
The project is covering the services needed to support the work on digital channels, i.e. social media platforms managed by the client.
What you’ll get to do:
Deliver weekly social media posts proposals: Proposals should be delivered and adapted to each social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Instagram & Facebook stories). Post proposal should include attractive and engaging visuals (videos, pictures, animations, etc.) drawing on existing communications assets whilst producing and ‘re-packaging’ content
Develop and execute creative concepts to engage with followers on a monthly basis (for example: polls, takeovers, live interviews, etc.).
Strengthen social media coverage during events and other speaking engagements by regular live posting/tweeting throughout. Optimise promotion of events by providing images and post proposals before and during events and speaking engagements for corporate accounts and staff members.
Monitor the social media trends and conversations on key topics such as education, innovation, entrepreneurship and the challenges. Create social media posts that respond to these conversations, keeping in mind key messages.
Interact with followers by responding to direct messages, and responding to posts.
Provide regular ongoing social media monitoring (min. twice a day) and alert system in case of negative posts/ tweets
Send out a weekly social media flash report: based on a commonly agreed template (to be agreed upon within 1 week after signing the contract) and following the agreed quantitative and qualitative indicators.
Monthly and annual social media report: Provide a monthly and annual social media report based on a commonly agreed template (to be agreed upon within 1 week after signing the contract). The monthly report should be delivered at the beginning of week 2 of the next month.
Desirable experience and competences:
Proven record of at least three years of dedicated / specialised experience in successful management of social media platforms.
Good knowledge of Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite
C1 level English
Preferably the candidate has some experience in managing EU bodies’ social media channels and/or targeting Brussels based decision- and policy makers
Capacity to work under time constraints,
Ability to research content and to translate difficult policy language into understandable content both in long-format and social media ready content,
Experience in working on social media,
Problem-solving attitude and flexible team player.
