Senior Technical Trainer
We are currently seeking a lead trainer to join our team in Woodlawn, MD. This position is responsible for providing client training to a federal agency user community to support the agency’s HSPD-12 credentialing application.
Learn the client HSPD-12 credentialing application.
Schedule user training and conduct HSPD-12 training sessions remotely.
Train users in the various HSPD-12 application roles
Maintain the HSPD-12 user certifications
Update training materials and documentation
Update and create standard operating procedures
Update and maintain the HSPD-12 training website documentation links.
Provide phone and email support to users in the field that have been previously trained
Participate in meetings and training sessions to keep informed of updates to the HSPD-12 process and equipment.
Coordinate with the HSPD-12 help desk to resolve issues.
Conduct other training sessions as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three (3) years of experience as a technical trainer. An additional (4) years of work experience can be substituted in place of a degree.
Acquire a Public Trust background investigation.
Demonstrated experience delivering training in classroom environments, remotely, and in one-on-one situations.
Demonstrated experience writing training documentation, standard operating procedures, and other business documentation
Demonstrated experience writing and maintaining IT lifecycle documentation.
Experience working in a federal government office environment.
Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to discern client needs and objectives and support client objectives
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated outstanding level of professionalism in providing administrative support, including ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, tact, and diplomacy
Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
Experience updating HTML web pages.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities
Supporting HSPD-12-related projects.
